Practice Areas

We offer a first hour consultation for a reduced fee in all practice areas. In some special circumstances, the initial fee may be waived.

Civil Litigation

Property, business, construction defect, and general litigation. If you have been served with a lawsuit, you have a limited amount of time in which to file an answer with the court or risk a default judgment against you. It is important that you engage the right attorney to represent you and help guide you through the litigation process. The Law Office of Timothy C. Dietz, PLLC is here to protect your interests should you be faced with litigation.

Insurance Law

Whether you need an insurance coverage opinion, independent counsel, or your insurance carrier has selected the Law Office of Timothy C. Dietz, PLLC to represent you, this firm remains committed to representing you, the client, with the individual attention that your case deserves.

Employment Law

Title VII, discrimination, FMLA, FLSA, wage & hour, and whistleblower retaliation claims.

Severances: If you are working through a pending separation from your employer, it may be to your advantage to get an opinion regarding any agreements that your employer has asked you to sign, and any severance packages that you have been offered.

Wage Deductions: Colorado law limits the types of deductions that an employer may make from an employee's pay. If your current or former employer has made compulsory deductions that are not one of the statutorily allowed types from your pay, you may be entitled to back pay. Contact this office to set up an appointment to review your rights and options for recovering unpaid wages.

Landlord/Tenant

This is primarily a tenant rights firm. The Law Office of Timothy C. Dietz, PLLC aggressively pursues solutions on behalf of tenants who have been wrongfully evicted, have been served with a Forcible Entry and Detainer (FED) complaint and summons, have had their security deposits wrongfully withheld, or who have otherwise suffered from landlords who violate Colorado landlord/tenant laws. We also advise landlords on practical solutions for avoiding improperly handling issues arising from tenants who default on their obligations.  We handle evictions and damages claims on behalf of landlords on a case-by-case basis. Contact this office to set up an appointment to review your rights and options for recovery.
